and family law is the level of uncertainty that is involved with litigating a case. ere is a tremendous amount of judicial discre- tion and o en it is extremely challenging when the law is not black and white. I overcome these challenges by understand- ing how the legal issue will be perceived by the court so that I can e ectively present the case in order to achieve the best results for my clients.
AALM: What traits do you think make an attorney exceptional? What’s the difference between a good attorney and an outstanding one?
Fox: I think that being prepared, un- derstanding how to effectively advocate regardless of the facts of your case and being able to present your case in an organized manner are just some of the traits that make an attorney exceptional.
AALM: What accomplishment are you most proud of achieving?
Fox: I am really proud of achieving board certification in marital and family law in 2013 and having my own law firm since 2005.
AALM: What do you enjoy doing outside of work? Hobbies? Sports?
Fox: I really enjoy being able to travel internationally. e world is an amazing place with such a wide variety of cultures and traditions. During the past year, I have been to the United Arab Emirates, India, Singapore, ailand and Hong Kong.
