Alethea M. Huyser has joined Fredrikson & Byron as an associate in the litigation, white collar and regula- tory defense and energy groups. Huy- ser is an experienced litigator who represents clients in a wide variety of enforcement, regulatory and civil liti- gation matters. As an experienced former assistant solicitor general, Huyser is uniquely able to advocate for clients interacting with the gov- ernment. From initial contact through appellate practice, she assists clients facing civil and health care fraud claims, government enforcement ac- tions, licensing investigations and white collar defense.
Larkin Ho man welcomes Wayne Schertler as its new chief operating of-  cer. Schertler has substantial experi- ence in law  rm management having served in the  eld for over 25 years.
He is a seasoned, passionate and en- trepreneurial executive leader with a strong  nance and accounting back- ground. Schertler will provide execu- tive leadership and strategic guidance for all administrative and  nancial functions of the  rm. He will work with the management committee and board of directors, leading the  rm’s strategic planning to maximize long- term growth and stability and to iden- tify emerging trends, opportunities and challenges.

Fairview Health Services board of directors has elected Richard Ostlund as chair. Since joining the Fairview Board in 2013, Ostlund has served many leadership roles, including rep- resenting the board alongside Fair- view president and CEO James Here- ford in reimagining and negotiating the new M Health Fairview partner- ship between Fairview, the University of Minnesota, and University of Min- nesota Physicians. He will play a vital role in combining the partners’ aca- demic and community capabilities to provide the best clinical care while supporting research and education across the largest health system in Minnesota. “Rich has been an invalu- able member of our board for many years and he has already le  a deep impact on health care in our commu- nity,” said Hereford. “His election to Board Chair will further extend that impact and I’m excited for all that we can achieve together.” A native of Walker, Minnesota, Ostlund is a se- nior partner and executive committee member of the law  rm Anthony Ost-
