Solo Small Firm Section Summer Meeting 2019
Ramsey County Bar Association
North Dakota Supreme Court Justice Dan- iel Crothers and computer forensics expert Mark Lanterman will lead a conversation concerning the intersection of law, eth- ics, and technology. Commercial attorneys strive to move at the speed of business to meet their clients’ needs; meanwhile, busi- ness clients operate in markets that evolve at an ever-accelerating pace. An increasing number of technologies are available to help lawyers and their clients to do more, faster. How are our ethical obligations as lawyers impacted by constant technologi- cal change? And, how can we stay up to speed with our clients and modern tech- nology while complying with the ethical ob- ligations of our profession? Justice Croth- ers and Mr. Lanterman will explore these questions and related topics in what is sure to be an engaging conversation.
