“ I met Elaine through several of her clients who were kind enough to nominate her for the Attorney of the Month. ”
Welcome to the latest issue of Attorney at Law Maga- zine South Florida.
In this issue, we feature Elaine Simon as our cover attorney. Elaine is a single mother – raising her two sons, while dedicating her professional life to the practice of matrimonial and family law. I met Elaine through several of her clients who were kind enough to nominate her for the Attorney of the Month. She was described to me as a strong and exception- ally kind negotiator, as well as a champion of women facing disabilities and health issues. A survivor who has come through enormous challenges in her own life, we
welcome Elaine as our cover attorney. Palm Beach County attorney Gary Less- er has also joined us in this issue sharing words of wisdom to other law rms about hiring new lawyers. We thank Gary for writing this article, and for his tremendous
support of women and families in need in Palm Beach County. A special welcome to Gary and his “new” lawyers Laura Scala and Alicia Zweig.
Our nal welcome is to former Judge Amy Smith! Amy is one of the most amaz- ing people that I have had the pleasure to meet. A skydiver, lawyer and former judge! We wish her a speedy full recovery.
Once again, I thank our great contribut- ing editors for their articles. Please call or email them if you have any questions or are in need of their guidance or services.
As always, we welcome your nomina- tions, your article submissions and your feedback.
Happy reading,
Rhenne Phillips Publisher
