“ Our cover story, Attorney of the Month Paul Geller, is another standout attorney and we are so proud to feature him and his accomplishments. ”
Welcome to our Spring 2017 is- sue of Attorney at Law Maga- zine South Florida. In this issue we are proud to feature several great attorneys and some columns and sections that will bring you the latest in legal news.
Let’s start with our Legal Legend William Scherer. e internationally recognized and highly regarded attorney of Conrad & Scherer just recently won $43 million for his clients. is month, Scherer tells us a bit of behind the scenes info on this lat- est success as well as some of the personal meanings this case had for him. Scherer’s list of successes include the “hanging chad” legal disagreement in the 2002 presidential election where Bill represented then presi- dential candidate George W. Bush. Scherer represented the plainti ’s in the infamous Ponzi scheme pioneered by Scott Roth- stein. Scherer and his team were able to return a large sum of money to the victims of Rothstein’s rip-o . And these are just of few of the successes of William Scherer, so it’s no wonder he joins us this month as our latest Legal Legend.
Our cover story, Attorney of the Month Paul Geller, is another standout attorney and we are so proud to feature him and his accomplishments. Geller is the managing partner and head of the Boca Raton o ce of Robbins Geller Rudman & Down LLP, the largest plainti ’s class action law rm in the world. Geller and his rm are and
have been referred to as “the class action dream team.” I could not think of a better way to say it. We hope you enjoy his visual story.
Please join local attorney J.B. Harris – one of our previous stars from Miami – on an adventure through the glaciers of Mt. Everest and the Himalaya. We are thank- ful he was able to take a break from his busy practice to experience such an excit- ing journey. e pictures are breathtaking and his rst-hand account may have you packing your bags to cross o one of those bucket list items.
I’d like to welcome J.B. to Fort Lauder- dale where he has recently relocated to work with Howard & Associates, focusing on plainti tobacco law.
It’s the “David v. Goliath” stories that keep me so proud to publish Attorney at Law Magazine. is issue, we bring you the story of many Davids doing what they do best – beating the Goliaths.
Please join us in our next issue in July/ August 2017 for our annual Attorneys to Watch special issue. If you have someone to nominate, please email me directly by June 7. I look forward to hearing from you.
Happy reading,
