Public  nance lawyer Pedro Miranda was recently appointed the managing part- ner of the Phoenix o ce of Squire Patton Boggs.
He succeeds Lew Clark who will continue to lead the o ce’s labor and employment prac- tice.
“In the years that I have known Pedro, he has proven to be an exceptional lawyer and a leader,” says out-going managing partner Lew Clark. “His integrity, energy, commitment to clients and civic engagement make him a nat- ural choice to carry the torch in the Phoenix market.”
In his practice, Miranda has served as bond counsel and underwriter’s counsel on  nanc- ings by governmental bodies in Arizona, Flor- ida, Texas and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. Miranda has worked on  nancings for
highways, electric power facilities, water and sewer facilities, healthcare facilities, airports and sports facilities and 501(c)(3) universities.
Miranda earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida in 1999. He is admitted to practice in Arizona, Texas and Florida. He  rst made partner with the  rm in 2008. Since he has established himself as a leader and a loyal member of the team.
